python-django-countries software package provides provides a country field for Django models, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-django-countries
python-django-countries is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-django-countries package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-django-countries *
You will get with python-django-countries package name, version, architecture and description in a table
